Is my ex bf trying to make me jelous?

i was going out with a guy for a year we had a major fight the day after we were together for a year and i dumped him i didnt mean to i spoke without thinking and he didnt believe me he is my first love and im his 5days after we broke up i told him i still had feelings for him and i didnt wanna watch him hold another girl until im ova him, i asked him should i move on or not and he told me it was my choice...3 hours after that conversation he asked out one of my friends and they are going out its only been 5 days! when me n him talk on line he is alwayz sayin my gf this and that he neva use 2 put me in his msn name and he had her as soon as they started going out...is he trying 2 make me jelous...if not y did he move on so quick he alwayz sed he luved me n he even sed he wanted 2 marry me????
