Getting horses sunday, help?

hey i am so happy, i have been searching for a horse for a few years now, and we found 2 beautiful chestnut colored horses, a gelding and a mare, each 4 years old, between 15.2 and 15.4 from new jersey, and they are coming sunday! so quick! lol anyway, we have a lot of experience with riding and caring for horses, for me over 6 years, but i would like to know more, and get any tips on how to care for horses, saddle them, ride, mount, bathe, train, and also how a western saddle works, i have saddled before, as i said, but the one i just got today is a little different then what i am used to, and am confused on how to put it on, and whats what, you know, the girth, synch, billet strap, etc, how to use them, and how to get these horses used to me, get used to the pasture, etc. i understand we gotta go by small steps and i am very patient, so i just wanna know how i can be the best candidate for these horses. also if you know any videos of how to do things, that would be great! lol also we have electric fencing set up but do not have a ground post yet, so arent gonna set it up, but we are gonna rope around the area for them to see, is this a good idea? they are calm, a 4 between 1 and 10, used to other animals, ex race horses i believe, we have just wire, not the felt so you cant see it too well. also good ideas on things to buy, snacks, bedding, toys, winter blankets, etc. hope to hear from someone soon! your friend, trish
