How often should i test my aqaurium water?

For one.. if you are at school or know any science teachers, just simply ask them for some "Universal Indicators." They are the cheapest (FREE) any easy to use. Just say I have a aquarium and need something to test my water. If the PH is around 6-9 then your water is fine.
