You make a point that I have been trying to argue with people for years. Everyone makes it out like Hitler was the most evil person of all time, but there were so many others just as bad as him. I am a German, and my whole life people have jokingly called me a Nazi, but it's not funny. Germany really does get a terrible reputation because of it. Hitler wasn't even a German, he was Austrian, he just happened to go into a country at a very bad time and take over. A huge portion of the Nazis weren't doing it by choice. My grandfather was dragged out of his house at 13, had a gun shoved to his head and was told 'join us or die'. I don't fully understand why so many books, shows, and movies revolve around the Holocaust. We really do need to let it go. Thank you for posting this well thought out post.
