Please i need help...?

Male hamsters have a better temprement than female hamsters, so if you were just getting the one then i would advise a male, but in the case of two together i would say female because males tend to fight over terratory, but the most important thing is, if you put two in the same cage they have to have been together since birth, as they will fight to the death over terratory if you put two strange hamsters together!
