"Education is bad for religion". What do you think of this quote?

Your point is interesting except for the fact that people are getting dumber by the year. Our educational system is in a shambles, pumping out barely literate zombies who are indoctrinated consumers who are trained to be the cogs in the wheel of our faltering economy. SAT scores dropped so much that they changed the scoring system to hide that. Colleges need to offer remedial courses in english and other subject just to get the dummies up to a level where they can even pretend to learn at a college level. The US is near the bottom of standardized test scores in math and science as compared to the rest of the industrialized world. Compared to the more faithful and more educated generation in American history, today's students are inferior. So really a dumbed down education leads to atheism.
